This article investigates the aesthetic-pedagogical thought of Vincent d’Indy, analyzing his conceptions of Art, music education, and musical creation based on his main theoretical publications. The research, of a basic and qualitative nature, employs documentary and bibliographic procedures to examine d’Indy’s texts and reconstruct the conceptual categories that structure his discourse on music education. The results indicate that the composer articulated aesthetics, ethics, and music education, proposing a comprehensive musical formation grounded in discipline, tradition, and Catholic ideals, with attention to artistic awareness and the moral development of the individual. The analysis highlights the interdependence between musical creation and teaching, showing how aesthetic principles can underpin educational practices oriented toward sensitivity and reflection.
