This paper presents the results of a research about collaboration and compositional creativity in the papers published in Brazil between 2015 and 2020, based on subjects related to our field: 1) collaboration between composer and performer; 2) composicionality and artistic/performative research; 3) performativity in creative processes. On the one hand, we aim to understand the research field of collaboration, on the other, we aim to propose a review about artistic research, theories of composition, and performativity of compositional creativity. The methodology consisted in a research on databases of journals and events, selection of papers, and analysis of the findings. Based on the analysis of the selected papers, we proposed three categories: 1) reports of creative processes; 2) theory efforts; 3) pedagogical implications. Finally, we present the data and propose a discussion based on contemporary studies of compositional acts and creative cognition.
